Very
interesting auto ride to the office today. Marginally improved my
opinion of Bangalore auto drivers...Abdul Mateen...spoke flawless
English...took me by a seemingly longer route, but meter showed a fare
that was about Rs.15 less than usual...worked as an accountant at
Niligiris until about 2-3 years ago...drives one of the nicer
green-yellow autos...likes being his own boss...I hope I get a chance to
ride with him again...more power to him!
